Safety starts from the top down. The commitment from management is to define and set the standards. Employee training, preplanning and in the end, overall accountability of each and every employee of QSS.

Quality Steel is committed to employee safety. Our focus is prevention of accidents, through our Safety training programs. Each employee is required to wear the proper protection equipment, inspect their tools before each use & be aware of their surroundings. They are required to consistently inspect their area, making sure it is safe, thus providing an injury free work place.

All employees are trained and or Certified in forklift, scaffold, aerials, scissor lift operation, hazard recognition and remediation. Proper use of industry standard safety devices and equipment. We work closely with the general contractor and other subcontractors to insure all personal on the job sites are safe, during our portion of the work.

Our mission is to maintain the safest work place. Quality Steel is focused on the safety of our employees and our fellow contractors. With training and accountability through planning and prevention, the end result is an injury free work place.

The American Institute of Steel Construction was founded in 1921, is the nonprofit technical standards developer and trade organization for fabricated structural steel industry in the United States. AISC is headquartered in Chicago and has a long tradition of service to the steel construction industry providing timely and reliable information.

SEAA

“Steel Erectors Association of America” is a National organization of Steel Erectors. It is a non profit organization that represents Steel Erectors & associated companies through out the United States. As a National organization, SEAA wields significant political clout and is widely respected by other groups, including AISC, SJI, SDI, NISD, CCO, AGC, ABC, NEA, AWS, & OSHA.
